"Home..." Finding your Soul Home.

Finding your Soul Home...  a sustained mood or sense that allows us to experience feelings not sustained in the mundane world: wonder, vision, peace.  A pristine instinctual life that works like a well oiled bearing.  Some never find their Soul Home.  We function, walk, hike, speak, act & accomplish many things but no longer feel the effects of what's gone wrong.  Discontent is the secret door to significant life giving change.  I understand discontent better than most. 

Soul is essential.  This piece is another opportunity to share with the world my journey and understand what it is to be touched by the hand of God.   Blessings .............                                           

Returning Home.......

As I've just returned from Texas, I will be a bit quiet.  Returning to the topside world takes a bit of centering and focus.  Ya'll stay tuned...there will more, there will be much more!  XXoOX

FAIRY TALES

Making Art, writing Music... the Instictive psyche in the body is considered a sensor, a messenger, a powerful vehicle, a spirit who lives with us, a prayer of life so to speak.
Fairy Tales are personified by magical objects that have superhuman qualities & abilities.  The body has two sets of ears, one for hearing in the mundane world, the other for hearing the soul; two sets of eyes, one set for regular vision, another for far-seeing; two kinds of strength.  The strength of the muscles and the invincible strength of the soul. 
In Fairy Tales the body speaks through its color, temperature..the flush of recognition, the glow of love, the ash of pain, the heat of arousal, the coldness of non conviction.  It speaks through its constant little dance, sometimes swaying, sometimes jittering, sometimes trembling.  It speaks through the leaping of the heart, the falling of the spirit, the pit at the center and rising hope....The body remembers, the bones remember, the joints remember...memory is lodged in pictures and feelings in the cells...anywhere the flesh is pressed, even touched lightly, a memory may flow out in a stream....I've always loved Fairy Tales...live it actually!

Statements

I was diligent, anxious, spent, crazy, and exhausted but finally able to figure out this non user friendly blog!!  My artist brain was ready to cash it in but....I went swimming.  I went swimming and got into the rhythm (yes, that must be why I love music, love to sing, love to dance!)..the kind of rhythm that takes you to calm, to center, to non thinking...in my next life I'd like to be a fish...a fish with shark repellent...the kind that lives with the rhythm of the Universe.  I love to draw fish, make fish, color fish...looks like tomorrow it'll be fish in the sketch book :)  Anyway, my ADD brain needs to come back to.. Click on my Artist Statement and my Artist Bio(near the bottom of the page)...ya'll will see what I've been up to these past few years.  Funny thing is, I forget what I've done.  Guess I'm always focused on the present.  Not such a bad gig!  XXoOoo
